The top four round in the Belgian First Division continued with four games this past weekend. Defending champion Deurne Spartans beat the Mortsel Stars 5-0 and 14-1 for a two-game sweep. The Brasschaat Braves and the Borgerhout Squirrels split a doubleheader. The Squirrels continue to lead the standings with a 30-4 record, followed by the Spartans and Braves, which are separated by two games. Four games each will be played in the next two weeks with Deurne and Brasschaat squaring off next weekend.
