Covered bythe first ever live stream game in history of Croatian baseball Nada SSM Split easily beat Olimpija ’83 Karlovac. From first inning Karlovac pitcher Darko Kvaternik had a problem with the strike zone walking four batters and when he found strike zone Nada SSM Split batters made it to a hit. On other side Nada SSM Split starter 44 years old Mladen Sasso didn’t have any problems. In seven innings he strike out 6 batters and allow only 5 hits. This one way game finish 15:5 for Nada SSM Split in seventh inning.
At second game played on Sunday Nada SSM – Split also beat Olimpija ’83 Karlovac but not so easy like at first game, Karlovac starter Slobodan Gales manage to stop Split batters for couple innings but 11 hits was enough for 6 runs over Karlovac 5 runs with 5 hits. Nada SSM Split starting pitcher Marin Tadic throw 7.1 innings without earned run but Split defense made four errors and help Karlovac offense to keep game close. But Nada SSM Split reliever Jadran Dadic with two pitches for two fly balls in eight inning and closer Clinton Stroud with two strike outs in ninth inning brings victory for Split team.
