Parallel to the Prague Baseball Week the Prague Softball Week took place as well. The Czech Republic defeated the AIST Stars 8-3 in the championship game on Saturday evening. The Czech team had lost 1-2 to the Stars on the first game day on Wednesday, but went on to win the remaining games to earn a rematch in the final. The AIST Stripes finished in third, Moscow in fourth. USA Athletes, Eagles Prague, Haar Disciples, Joudrs Prague, Austria and Slovakia also participated. For the national teams in the tournament it was a good opportunity to get some preparation prior to the upcoming Softball European Championship.
