The Brisbane Bandits are joining the Melbourne Aces in the Championships Series of the Australian Baseball League 2016/2017. The Bandits won the rubber match of their playoff series against the Adelaide Bite with a 18-2 blowout. Six runs in the seven and eight in the eighth blew the game wide open. Seven home runs aided the Bandits.
