In the Dutch Golden League Softball FysioExpert Olympia Haarlem swept Sparks Haarlem 2-0 in the best-of-three final series this past weekend. Olympia used a pair of shutouts to dethrone Sparks. Ellen Roberts pitched a five-hitter on Saturday in a 5-0 win and a one-hitter in a 2-0 win on Sunday. She was named MVP of the Holland Series afterwards. For FysioExpert Olympia Haarlem it is their second title in team history since 2003. Sparks Haarlem had won the Dutch Softball Championship in the previous three years.
