Press Release Brest Zubrs
On January, 22-23nd, 2011 in a covered track and field athletics arena of Brest V has taken place the International meeting «Brest (Belarus) – Vilnius (Lithuania) 2011» between teams of clubs “Vilnius” and «Brest Zubrs». In total in a meeting has taken part six games in two age groups: T-ball and Juveniles. About sixty young baseball players played six intense games within two days.
In persistent struggle by the winner of a meeting in T-ball there was a baseball team of «Brest Zubrs», to gain a victory in two matches (18-15, 30-15). Among Juveniles the winner was the squad “Vilnius-1” (10-0, 6-1). In conclusion of the competition the teams and the best players got rewarded with memorable cups, prizes and diplomas during a medal ceremony. «Pittsburgh Pirates» player Alexey Lukashevich was on hand and wished the young baseball players of to accomplish new achievements in the sport.
