The Softball Asia Pacific Cup held at Blacktown International Sportspark starting on Thursday, is the biggest international women’s softball event in Australia since the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Italy is going to represent Europe in the tournament, which serves as preparation event for this year’s World Championship and the 2020 Olympics. Other participants include Japan, Chinese Taipei, Australia, China, New Zealand and an All-Star team. Italy faces Japan and Australia on day one.
