On Thursday April 19th at two baseball facilities in Prague one of the biggest youth baseball events in Europe the SUMA OPEN PONY LEAGUE EMEA Zone will get underway. 48 teams in three categories – baseball U14, baseball U16, softball girls U16 from 13 countries will play together 138 games from Thursday to Sunday. On Sunday late afternoon the winners of each category will be known and qualified for the PONY LEAGUE WORLD SERIES played during August in different cities across USA. Category U16 baseball and U16 softball girls will be played at Eagles Park facility – home of Extraleague Eagles Praha. Category U14 baseball will be played at TJ Tempo Praha facility – home of Tempo Titans Prague. Winners of 2011 annual SUMA OPEN PONY LEAGUE tournament were the Ambassadors from Germany (U16 baseball category) and Dvur Kralove from Czech Republic (U16 softball girls category). They are in the lineup of participants again.
