Spain scored three runs in the top of the sixth inning to overcame a 1-3 deficit in a 4-3 win over the Czech Republic in the final game of a four-game exhibition series during the Tenerife Baseball Week on Thursday. Daniel Mondejar decided the outcome with a three-run home run in the sixth. Daniel Moreno had a solo shot for Spain.
The Czech team scored three runs in the first on a RBI double by Tomas Junec, a bases loaded walk and a wild pitch. However they also saw three runners being thrown out at home during the opening frame.
Jesus Da Silva earned the win in relief. Lukas Hlouch took the loss. Spain won three of the four games in the exhibition series.
